Hardware Design Engineers. A Colchester based computer products firm require more Hardware Design Engineer to join their team. The Hardware Design Engineers will be responsible for the design and development of single board computer products from definition through to introduction to manufacturing, production technical support, project leading and design reviewing, maintaining awareness of new technologies and pre and post sales backup to our technical support team.

The Hardware Design Engineers need to be engineering graduates with post graduate experience of digital hardware design and will be familiar with some of the following: 32 bit / 64 bit microprocessors, preferably Intel 80x86 architecture, high performance communications peripheral devices eg Gigabit Ethernet, SATA, SAS or SCSI, complex programmable logic devices, high performance bus architectures e.g PCI Express, RapidIO, CompactPCI or VME, high speed digital logic (100MHz and faster), advanced memory technologies e.g DDR or DDR II SDRAM.
