Nursery Manager Temp to Perm in North Essex



We have a great opportunity for an experienced Nursery Practitioner who has had previous leadership responsibilities to manage an established nursery based in North Essex which has occupancy of 34 children and cares for children from 3 months to 5 years. With strong professional management and leadership skills you will act as a positive role model and motivate your team to achieving the highest level of care and education.



You will need to be Level 4 and above or ideally have a relevant childcare or management related degree and experience within a nursery setting.



Responsibilities:



* Ensure that the Nursery meets the requirements of the EYFS.

* For the recruitment process of new staff, complete and deliver annual appraisals and development reviews.

* Responsible for the maintenance of the Nursery building and outside area. Ensure that children’s dietary needs are met and complied with through Food Safety Regulations.

* Budgetary control





The ideal candidate:



* Will have a passion for working and developing young minds and a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage is essential.

* You must be able to demonstrate vision and direction.

* Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Be educated to Level 4 in Childcare or above

* Promote high quality care and education and disseminate good practice.
